Introducing the Lesson
This week's lesson presents application. False teachings can Paul's defence of the gospel against the Judaizers in Galatia.
These false teachers were trying to persuade Christians to follow the Jewish law
especially conceming circumcision. They claimed Gentiles could not be save unless they obeyed the commands of the law.
Paul's defence gives insight into his character. It shows the relationship between his life and his teaching. Most of all, it demonstrates the priority Paul place on truth but this lesson has practical application, false teaching can invade the church today. How? Someone reads a book, or hear a speaker or innocently misunderstands scripture. Because what he has rear or heard sound attractive , he share it with others before studying the bible to see whether his teaching is in agreement  with the totality of God's word, allow this weeks lesson to challenge you to study God's word then you can recognise and refute false teaching..
